2008 Dean Martin Festival

This weekend, the City of Steubenville, Ohio honors its favorite son, Dino Paul Crocetti.

The Festival will include a tribute concert tonight featuring Deana Martin and others, a film festival tomorrow, a parade on Saturday, and the Dean Martin Father's Day Brunch on Sunday among other activities.

Click here for the schedule of events.

The Festival Website also includes photos from past years, links, and other information.

I had intended to make it to Steubenville this year, but alas, financial woes kept me home. Maybe 2009...

I just wanted to say that I did go to the festival. It was my first time but I'm already planning another trip for next year! It wasn't exactly what I expected but still very cool--great music and great people! I took lots of pictures. If you'd be interested in seeing them, let me know!

I also wanted to mention that I love that you do this podcast! I've been listening for a while now & your work is very much appreciated!!

I was also at the festival. It was the 2nd time for my wife and I, but we had as much fun as the first. No, the festival isn't huge and it isn't hollywood polished but it is a great time with several activities planned every day of the festival. Had a couple of people comment on the friendliness of the locals and experienced it myself.
Hope to meet some of you there next year.
PS. Just found this site and podcast and am personally thrilled.
